Senzig has been a district of the city of Königs Wusterhausen - southeast of Berlin - since 2003. There are three large lakes for swimming and relaxing. Not only the lakes offer places to rest and relax, but also the adjacent forest areas invite you to go for a walk.

TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS

The infrastructure of the local public transport is guaranteed by the proximity to the bus line 722 with connection to the suburban and regional train station Königs Wusterhausen in the best way. The regional trains RE2, RE7 and RB22 as well as the S-Bahn line S46 serve as a direct feeder to the Berlin city center. In addition, you can also get from here to the surrounding towns with other bus lines as well as with the RB36 to Frankfurt (Oder).

One of the most important roads is the Chausseestraße (L40), which indirectly connects Senzig with Königs Wusterhausen in the west and the district of Zernsdorf in the north. The Niederlehme junction on the Berlin ring road (A10) is also located here. Via the multi-lane freeway and its connections, one can reach Kurfürstendamm (City-West) and the state capital Potsdam in about 45 minutes or Frankfurt (Oder) in the other direction just as quickly.

The proximity to the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) for additional vacation travel is therefore excellent.

EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES

The district of Senzig alone has 3 daycare centers and an elementary school (Am Krimnicksee). In the entire city area of Königs Wusterhausen there are further elementary school as well as secondary schools. At the train station Königs Wusterhausen, for example, is the Oberstufenzentrum Dahme- Spreewald. Long distances to school are a thing of the past!
