The municipality has excellent connections: Both the capital and surrounding Brandenburg can be reached quickly via the A10 (Berliner Ring) and the A117. In addition, local public transport offers convenientconnections to Berlin and the surrounding towns via regional trains and bus routes.

TRANSPORT LINKS

The local public transport infrastructure is well developed thanks to the proximity to bus route 950, which offers a convenient connection to Strausberg S-Bahn station and in the other direction to Hoppegarten, Müncheberger and Trebnitz. From the S-Bahn station, you can take the S-Bahn line (S5) or alternatively the RB26 to Berlin's vibrant city center in around 30 minutes.

The location is also ideal for drivers: in just 5 minutes you can reach the B1, which will take you via Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf, Dahlewitz-Hoppegarten and Beiersdorf to the heart of Berlin in around 40 minutes. The Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf junction on the Berliner Ring (A10) is just 12 minutes away. Via the multi-lane highway and the federal highway and the connecting roads, you can reach Alexanderplatz (Berlin-Mitte) in approx. 45 minutes or Bernau in 30 minutes or Grünheide (Mark) in 20 minutes in the other direction.
